Everyone loves the breadth of activities that are available from jet-skiing to parasailing to hiking, and then we all enjoy walking through town and deciding which of the many restaurants to visit. There is always an art fair or an outdoor concert going on, and the vibe is just plain fun!
For history buffs looking for a unique weekend trip, St Augustine is a great option. Located just over two hours away from South Florida, this charming coastal city has been around since 1565 – making it the oldest continuously occupied European settlement in the United States! Here, visitors can explore centuries-old fortresses or take a leisurely stroll through one of America’s oldest streets – St George Street – lined with colorful Spanish Colonial buildings and quaint shops.
If you’re looking for thrills and excitement, Orlando is your go-to destination! Home to some of the world’s best theme parks such as Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando, it’s no wonder that this city has become synonymous with family fun. After all the rides are done, spend some time exploring International Drive or take in a show at Cirque du Soleil. With so much entertainment available here, there is something for everyone in Orlando!
