If you’re looking for a beautiful place to go for a run, look no further than Palm Beach County, Florida. With its sandy beaches, lush vegetation, and stunning architecture, Palm Beach County has something for everyone. And whether you’re a casual runner or a competitive athlete, you’ll find plenty of great places to get your heart pumping. Here are just a few of my favorites.
The West Palm Beach Waterfront: This scenic trail runs along the downtown waterfront, offering stunning views of the Intracoastal Waterway. The trail is also conveniently located near restaurants and shops, so you can fuel up before or after your run.
Inlet Park: This serene park is located in Juno Beach and offers miles of shaded trails through a coastal hammock ecosystem. Keep your eyes peeled for native wildlife like ospreys, manatees, and turtles.
Okeeheelee Park: This sprawling park in West Palm Beach has something for everyone, including an off-leash dog park, playgrounds, tennis courts, and, of course, miles of running trails. There’s even a water fountain specifically for four-legged friends!
Blowing Rocks Preserve: Located on Jupiter Island, this preserve is home to one of the most unique ecosystems in Florida. The preserve features Anastasia limestone that has been eroded over time by wind and waves, creating fascinating rock formations. In addition to being a photographer’s dream, the preserve offers several miles of hiking and running trails.
Whether you are a seasoned runner or just getting started, Palm Beach County has a trail for you. So lace up those sneakers and enjoy some fresh air and sun!
