Tucked away in Delray Beach, Florida is a hidden gem known as the Morikami Museum and Japanese Garden. This museum is a beautiful oasis that features calm ponds, serene gardens, and traditional Japanese architecture. It’s the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy some peace and quiet.

 

The Morikami Museum was founded in 1981 by George Morikami, a Japanese immigrant who came to America in 1906. The museum is dedicated to preserving and sharing Japanese culture with the community. In addition to the beautiful gardens, the museum also houses a collection of Japanese art and artifacts. Don’t forget to stop by the tea house where you can enjoy traditional Japanese tea ceremonies.
